9/11 and London Movies

In a special investigation, the Fifth Estate's Bob McKeown finds that even the most outlandish conspiracies theories about the September 11th attacks and the 'war on terror' may have basis in a legitimate question. In the course of separating fact from fiction, McKeown delves into the labyrinthine and surprising ties between the Bushes and the Bin Ladens.

Conspiracy is a very subjective word. What may be considered conspiracy to some may be considered fact to others with a different set of information. Many people bash Michael Moore calling his film a bunch of lies. What I find interesting is that rarely, is it discussed what these lies are. Though one may have issue with Moore personally or some of the biases inherent in his tone, those are issues of little importance to me.

What I care about is whether Bush exaggerated the case to war, whether there are old business ties between the Bin Laden family and the Bush family and whether 9/11 was a manipulated event used to start a war. This film discusses those topics as well as some of the more controversial theories such as whether the administration had any forewarning of the events of 9/11. My only complaint is that this last issue is only briefly glossed over and it doesn't seem serious research is done. It almost seems that the producers took the easy way out of explaining any government involvement or questions unanswered regarding the attacks.
